Pharmacist Spotlight: Marci Lee, PharmD

In her prior work experience, Marci worked for the FDA/US Public Health Service, Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP) and Med-ERRS. Marci has been an early proponent of cannabis use in Pennsylvania. During spring 2018, while Pennsylvania prepared to open their first dispensaries, Marci started to attend informational sessions to learn about the endocannabinoid system and cannabis. She is continuously updating her knowledge about cannabis with podcasts, books, online forums/resources and conferences.
Marci is the full-time pharmacist at our Plymouth Meeting location. What Marci enjoys the most about working at the Apothecarium is empowering our patients to optimize their regimens and improve their lives with cannabis. She is a member of the International Society of Cannabis Pharmacists (formally known as the American Society of Cannabis Pharmacists), a volunteer for the Cannabis Labeling Summit and a volunteer for the Pharmacist Advisory Board to the PA Department of Health for the Medical Marijuana Program.
