Things that make you say “OHM”
Cannabinoid receptors are in areas of the brain that are related to behavior, thought, and mood. When cannabis interacts with these receptors, they can quiet an overactive mind and provide a sense of contentment. When the cannabinoid receptors found throughout our bodies are activated, they can produce a relaxing effect by calming muscles that are holding stress.
As more and more people turn to yoga and meditation for both physical, mental, and spiritual health, there is no denying that medical marijuana has a symbiotic relationship with both practices. With the correct dosages and administration, medical marijuana is a great vehicle to enhance the centered-like feeling that meditation and yoga provide. Just remember, take a few deep breaths and….OHM.
